How to use a voice changer in Discord
- Open Foxerly Voice Changer and choose the microphone you normally use.
- In Discord, open User Settings, then Voice & Video.
- Set Input Device to Foxerly Virtual Microphone.
- Talk and watch the input meter move. Pick a voice in Foxerly Voice Changer and your friends hear it right away.
The same idea works in any app: wherever you would choose a microphone, choose Foxerly Virtual Microphone. In OBS Studio, add it as an audio input capture source.
A voice changer is for fun, creativity and privacy. Some games and platforms have rules about voice chat, and pretending to be a real person to mislead or harass someone is never acceptable.

Does it work with Discord?
Yes. Set Discord’s input device to Foxerly Virtual Microphone and your friends hear the changed voice.
Will it work in my game?
If the game lets you choose a microphone, or uses the Windows default, yes. Select Foxerly Virtual Microphone in the game or set it as the default input in Windows.
Does it add delay?
A little processing time is unavoidable, but it is kept low so that live conversations still flow naturally.
Can I use it with OBS Studio?
Yes. Add Foxerly Virtual Microphone as an audio input capture source.
Can I switch it off quickly?
Yes. A hotkey turns the effect on and off, and another switches between your favorite voices.
Is using a voice changer allowed?
In most apps, yes. Check the rules of the game or platform, and never use a changed voice to impersonate someone or to harass people.
