iPhone photos on Windows: the HEIC question
iPhones save photos in HEIC format by default. It keeps files small at high quality, but many Windows programs and websites still cannot open it.
Foxerly Phone Manager can copy HEIC photos as they are, or convert them to JPG while copying, so they open everywhere. Live Photos can be saved as a still image together with the short video.
For iPhones, Windows needs Apple’s device driver to talk to the phone over USB. If it is missing on your PC, Foxerly Phone Manager tells you how to add it.

Yes. Connect either kind of phone by USB and it shows up in Foxerly Phone Manager.
Do I need other software for an iPhone?
Windows needs Apple’s USB device driver to talk to an iPhone. If it is not on your PC yet, Foxerly Phone Manager tells you how to add it.
Are photos copied in full quality?
Yes. Photos and videos are copied at their original quality. Converting HEIC to JPG is optional.
Can I back up my whole phone?
